Why I Created UpReady

Every other morning, I woke up feeling off, tired and unsure if it was just my mind playing tricks or my body signaling something deeper. My wife and I would often ask each other, “How did you sleep? Are you ready for the day?” but we never really knew the answer. It became a mystery.

That’s why I built UpReady, a smart app designed to reveal how you’re really waking up. By analyzing critical health metrics like sleep, workout load, HRV and more, UpReady uses Artificial Intelligence to act as your personal health guide. It has changed the way I work and exercise. But it doesn’t stop there, you can invite friends to share their readiness and load scores, fostering a supportive and mindful community.

UpReady was designed to work seamlessly with the Apple Watch Ultra, Series 10, Series SE or newer versions. For martial arts enthusiasts, it works great with popular arm bands synced with Apple Health.

As someone who exercises regularly, practices karate, and occasionally burns the midnight oil coding, I needed clarity. I wanted to understand not only how I was waking up but also how my wife was doing, so I could be more mindful if she was having a tough morning and adjust our routine based on our metrics.

What UpReady Offers

Readiness Score: Calculated using advanced AI to give you a snapshot of how prepared your body is for the day. It takes into account more than 10 health metrics. Load Indicator: A proprietary metric that evaluates cardiovascular and muscular stress based on your workouts. Sleep Insights: Understand the quality of your rest. Heart Rate Variability (HRV): A critical measure of recovery and stress. Friends & Family Monitoring: Stay connected by tracking their readiness and load to show support or encourage balance.

Privacy First: Your health data is yours alone. UpReady will NEVER store your health data, and your friends can only see your readiness and load scores—nothing more.
