Extension Guard is a must-have browser extension for securing and managing your extensions. Powered by Chrome-Stats data, it lets you monitor installed extensions, assess risk levels, review permissions, and receive real-time alerts for extension installs/updates/removals. Easily enable, disable, or remove extensions via a centralized dashboard, ensuring transparency and control over security threats.
Compatible with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox, it combats privacy risks by highlighting suspicious behavior. Ideal for both casual users and IT professionals, Extension Guard simplifies browser safety—download now to safeguard your digital experience.
Extension Guard is available on Chrome and Firefox (Edge coming soon).
Upcoming Chrome-Stats API changes
Updated: 2025-03-15
We will be rolling our some potential breaking changes to our APIs:
riskScore will be removed from our APIs and CSVs. Please use riskImpact and riskLikelihood instead.
The risk field from the detail API will be striped down to just riskImpact, riskImpactReasons, riskLikelihood, and riskLikelihoodReasons. All other nested fields under risk will be removed.
We have switched to serving Edge, Firefox, and Android stats under the subdomains edge.chrome-stats.com, firefox.chrome-stats.com, and android.chrome-stats.com, respectively. While API calls to the old domains (edge-stats.com, firefox-stats.com, and android-stats.com) are still working, we highly encourage you to migrate to the new subdomains for lower latency and better reliability.
New domains for Edge, Firefox, and Android stats
Updated: 2025-03-03
Edge-Stats, Firefox-Stats, and Android-Stats have been moved to new subdomains under chrome-stats.com, enhancing user experience with a single login across all platforms. Old domain requests will be redirected, but users are advised to update to the new domains.
