Page Notes & Highlight Firefox

Page Notes & Highlight

By: LK68
Save selected text as notes and highlight them on any page, fast and private.

Features & Capabilities

Save selections as notes via the right-click menu and highlight them on any page using a simple popup. Designed to be fast, private, and minimal, it requests only storage, activeTab, and contextMenus. No remote code, no analytics, and no inline scripts. Use the context menu to capture text while you browse. Your notes are stored locally using the standard WebExtensions storage API. Open the popup to review notes, pick one, or type any term and highlight the matches on the current tab. Options let you choose highlight color and whether to underline matches. The extension injects a small content script only when you click the highlight button, and only for the active tab you approved. This add-on avoids unnecessary permissions, adheres to AMO guidelines, and keeps a small footprint.
