Quick Notes (Local) Firefox

Quick Notes (Local)

Save selected text from the current page into local notes—quickly, privately, and offline.

Features & Capabilities

Quick Notes lets you capture text from any webpage in a click and store it locally in your browser. It does not use remote servers, accounts, or analytics. Your notes stay on your device. The popup can grab your current selection, save it as a note, and show your five most recent entries. An options page allows you to browse all notes, delete any you no longer need, and export or import a JSON backup so you can move notes between profiles or machines.

Under the hood the add-on uses the minimal set of permissions and a background script to keep storage simple and reliable. Notes are capped to a configurable maximum to prevent unbounded growth. If a page blocks script injection, you can still type or paste notes manually. The interface is intentionally lightweight so it starts fast and stays out of your way.
