Quick Notes Firefox

Quick Notes

By: 789K
Quick Notes: a lightweight toolbar popup for saving short notes (no extra host permissions).

Features & Capabilities

Quick Notes is a small, privacy-friendly toolbar extension that lets you write and save short notes from the browser popup. Notes are stored locally using the WebExtensions storage API and can be cleared in the options page. The extension requests only the storage permission and does not inject scripts into web pages or load remote code. It is ideal for jotting down reminders, copy-paste snippets, or quick to-dos without leaving the browser.

The popup UI is intentionally minimal and accessible. All code is included in the package (no remote dependencies) and the add-on follows standard content security policy rules so there are no inline scripts, no uses of unsafe-eval, and no unsafe innerHTML usage.

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Quick Notes does not require any sensitive permissions.
