User Reviews

Users praise the app for its simple, distraction-free interface that makes the 5/3/1 routine easy to follow. The standout benefit is automatic cycle planning for four weeks, including warm-ups, work sets, cardio, and BBB lifts, which reduces manual calculations. Common requests focus on adding an in-app timer between sets, expanding accessory lift customization with notes or a calendar, and enabling automatic progression after each cycle to advance weights automatically.
Pros
  • Simple, minimalist design that is easy to use.
  • Distraction-free experience with no ads.
  • Automatically handles the 4-week cycle (warm-ups, work sets, cardio, BBB), reducing manual math.
  • Great for beginners and fosters consistent gains with a clear workout structure.
Cons
  • No in-app timer between sets.
  • Limited customization for accessory lifts and the ability to track notes or a calendar to monitor progress.
  • No automatic progression after a 4-week cycle; weights require manual updates.

Much like the other 5 star reviews, I appreciate how simple and easy it is to use this app and incrementally increase my lift weights… I’m not one for doing even simple calculations while prepping or working out so this has really helped me a lot!

This app seems awesome! Minimalist and to the point. I really would love to use it but it is not possible to use Kg instead of lb. While putting the Kg values instead of lbs seems an option then the rounding is at 5lbs as opposed to the 2.5Kg. Another nice feature could be to allow to change the second cardio (e.g. pull up on first day, leg rise on second day and so on)

I just like that it’s simple. Hoping it is raising my max after week 4.
