User Reviews

Users broadly praise 7 Minute High Fitness for its simple design, quick and accessible workouts, and strong motivational impact. Many emphasize beginner- and family-friendliness and effective results. However, recurring issues include updated UI changes with requests to revert to a classic look, audio/ playback bugs, repetition with little variety, and frustrations around paid content and a failing $0.99 feature, plus occasional device bugs that give a beta-like feel.
Pros
  • Simple, minimal design and easy-to-use UI.
  • Quick, efficient workouts that fit into busy schedules or serve as a warm-up.
  • Strong motivational effect and helps users stay accountable and see fitness progress.
  • Flexible customization, including the ability to create your own HIIT workouts (with demand for more presets/variety).
  • Broad appeal and beginner-friendly, with positive feedback from kids and general users.
Cons
  • Recent updates change the look and feel; many users want a classic option back.
  • Audio playback issues during workouts, including music stopping and audible clicks.
  • Repetitive workouts with limited variety; calls for more presets or multi-circuit options.
  • Monetization frustrations: paid workouts and a non-working $0.99 feature.
  • Occasional device-specific bugs and perceived beta status on some updates.

What happened to my beloved app?!?!? I loved the simple graphics and minimal voice!!!! I don’t recognize this app anymore and find it totally off putting. Please bring back the classic version as an option, this currently looks and sounds terrible!!

Edit: New update seems promising but showing a cardinal flaw—Music stops when audio queues hit. Also, you can hear dude’s mouse clicks at the end of the prompt. Feels beta but it’s somehow an auto update...please fix!! Original: This app is great in large part for its simplicity. That said it would be great to see some complexity inserted by way of variation in the exercises—bonus, bonus would be to add the option to run multiple circuits.
