User Reviews

User reviews largely condemn myORCA for missing iOS wallet integration and tap-to-pay, insisting you still need a physical Orca card to ride. Recurrent problems include failing payment method additions and autoload, crashes when configuring payments, and poor QA across iOS versions. Several reviews mention security-question setup issues and outdated UI. A minority find some convenience in loading funds and viewing their pass, but the overall sentiment is that the app is unreliable and incomplete, hindering its core purpose.
Pros
  • Ability to reload/add funds to the Orca card digitally within the app.
  • In-app access to the Orca pass for viewing and managing your card.
  • Quick visibility of account balance/funds within the app.
Cons
  • Lack of Apple Wallet/tap-to-pay integration on iOS; no digital wallet support for payments.
  • Problems adding or updating payment methods and autoload; crashes or no action when configuring payments.
  • Requires a physical Orca card to ride/pay; digital payments via the app are not functional.
  • Security/account setup issues (security questions display off-screen, multiple questions issues).
  • General reliability/maintenance concerns; reports of outdated/unstable app and lack of timely updates.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD GET TRANSIT GO APP INSTEAD This app is borderline broken. It lacks any forms of modern OAuth login, requires you to have a physical Orca card to use it, and the required security questions to set up an account spill off the screen, making it nearly impossible to create an account. Whoever made this app hasn’t tried to use it as a new user. Also, it confused my Apple iOS native password app, remembering one of the security questions and answers instead of my username and password.

This app is pointless without the ability to pay with myORCA digitally….if you don’t have your physical card, you can’t use the app to pay your fare, not add the orca pass to Apple wallet. Why does this app exist?

Have you QA’d the app using the latest OS and iPhone? Well, the add payment function doesn’t work. Try it.
