User Reviews

Yuzu eReader is praised for its tablet-friendly use, cross-device notes, and a clean, organized interface. However, user reviews cluster around core issues: unreliable login and account access; weak highlighting/annotation features with no Apple Pencil support; poor read-aloud accessibility; inability to download/export PDFs or print; and overall slow performance. Users seek a more reliable login flow, richer markup and accessibility, export options, and faster performance while preserving the portable, organized reading experience.
Pros
  • Tablet-friendly and convenient for on-the-go reading.
  • Notes taken on iPad can be found/accessed on a computer (cross-device notes).
  • Well-organized, clean UI and easy-to-understand format.
Cons
  • Frequent login/authentication issues (session timeouts, Okta/QR login problems, account access).
  • Poor highlighting/annotation capabilities (limited markup, no Apple Pencil support, margin display issues, bugs).
  • Subpar read-aloud accessibility (robotic voices, limited voice options, screen-reader problems).
  • Inability to download PDFs or export notes/printing restrictions.
  • Slow performance and lag during use (loading and scrolling).

Absolutely a trash product and should be removed front the store

Every chapter has a series of definitions that you need to click on in order to read the definitions. the pop ups work on the website(though the layout is terrible); but on the app, the definition pop-ups are translucent meaning both layers of text are visible, making them completely unreadable. For an app that is required for my textbook it is infuriating.
