Pros

Highlighting and note-taking features are useful for studying.
The app is generally easy to use and user-friendly.

Cons

Text-to-speech voice is robotic and hard to understand.
Navigation is frequently buggy with pages jumping or incorrect locations when following links or using menus.
Markup/highlight functionality is slow, prone to crashes, and often loses progress.
UI feels outdated and not intuitive across some interactions.
DRM restrictions limit annotation/export options (no PDF view, can't export highlights).

Recent reviews

This is a horrible app. Somehow they are in bed with community colleges the bcc’s or just anyone who wants a kickback. Navigation and highlighting is awful. The text to speech is worse than 1982 Apple IIe. The first one I think. And the book is more expensive. The only good thing is it is in digital form. Although I hear that the company is dropping some of the texts we have bought. Plus lifetime is 5 years! How is that lifetime.
