User Reviews

Most reviews of BibliU on Apple are negative. Recurrent issues include reliability problems (crashes, freezes, blank screens), offline/download limitations, login failures, unreliable search/navigation, and flaky annotation/highlighting. A few users cite portability and the highlighting feature as positives, but these benefits are outweighed by pervasive usability issues.
Pros
  • Highlighting and annotation features are valued by some users.
  • Digital access reduces the need to carry heavy textbooks and is described as convenient.
  • Provides online access to textbooks through the BibliU platform.
Cons
  • Unreliable performance: the app frequently crashes, freezes, or shows blank screens and often cannot load books.
  • Offline access and downloads do not work reliably; reading often requires an internet connection.
  • Persistent login problems: users report black login screens and being unable to stay logged in.
  • Search and navigation are inconsistent: search results can be inaccurate and pages may not align with the book.
  • Highlighting/annotation features are flaky and may not save properly.

This is a terrible book app. There’s no way to organize books by any method except favorites. Can’t turn pages in the books like all other good book apps and search results in the books are the worst. This company has to be making bank from universities and students and this is the best they can come up with.

Its does what is need providing a text through an online platform. Need to have a better read aloud option it sounds horrible.

Not bad but could be a lot better (especially considering how many students from dozens of educational institutions pay for this) You see I’m all for cheaper that’s not the concern there are many other issues. For starters the book only saves you about $20 maybe a little more, it makes sense to pay a little more for something that’s physical AND something you can share or even resell or a least give away to someone in need when you are done with the course. Second, I have 5 classes this semester and 1 class has no book to it because it’s a very short basic course but I HAVE to pay for it, no problem I can just opt out but no if I want to opt out of something I have to opt out of all, there’s no way to pay for just 4 classes. Also I would just like to say that few days ago I found exact content online for free.
