Fjellbok

Fjellbok is your pocket trail register, capturing the charm of signing a weathered logbook at the trailhead after every hike. The entire experience feels like opening a wooden trail register box, complete with lined paper and a stubby pencil. Four carved wooden trail blazes sit at the bottom of the screen, giving you instant access to the Trailhead, Logbook, Record, and Summits tabs. On the Record tab, you fill in the trail name, date, distance, and an optional star rating, then press the boot-icon save button to stamp a muddy boot print onto the log sheet. Your new entry immediately slides into the Logbook, where each hike appears as a tear-off waterproof sheet with a subtle topo contour background and a tiny embossed compass rose marking completion. The Logbook keeps a scrollable list of all your trails, and you can search by name or tap any card to edit details or remove the entry—no cloud sync, just simple local control. Back on the Trailhead dashboard, two carved tally sticks display your total trails and total kilometers with large burned-in numbers, giving you an at-a-glance summary of your progress. A worn metal staple button marked “Log Hike” is always within reach, flipping you to the Record tab with a satisfying paper rustle. The Trailhead also shows your three most recent hikes, so you can pick up right where you left off. Over on the Summits tab, you’ll find a clean stats overview with total distance, total elevation, and a vertical bar chart built from stacked wooden blocks that tracks your monthly distances. Everything you log lives directly on your phone, so there’s no sign-up, no account, and your hiking diary remains entirely private. Fjellbok turns every walk, trek, and summit attempt into a personal milestone, motivating you to lace up your boots and add another line to your growing trail story.
