The app opens to the Summit dashboard, where a parchment bookmark displays your total trips and cumulative kilometers in elegant hand-lettered numbers.
A hovering wooden pencil button lets you jump straight into logging a new hike from any screen.
When you tap to add a trip, the Scrawl page presents a clean blotting-paper form with fields for trail name, date, distance in kilometers, and a favorite star you can toggle right away.
Each entry saves instantly to your device’s local storage, so no account or internet connection is ever required.
Your full hiking history lives in the Ledger tab, a scrollable journal sorted by date where every trip appears as a flowing handwritten line.
Within the Ledger, you can mark any hike as a favorite by selecting the tiny five-point star next to its entry.
The Stars tab collects only your favorite adventures, giving you a fast way to revisit the trails that meant the most to you.
If you ever want to remove a favorite, simply uncheck the star and that trip remains in your main log.
Deleting a trip from the register draws a single neat pencil stroke through the entry, leaving the rest of your journal intact.
