The Log tab shows a chronological list of your hikes, where every entry appears like a wooden signpost displaying the trail name, date, distance, and a quick difficulty rating. You can search through your past adventures or swipe to remove any entry, keeping your log clean and relevant. When you are ready to add a new outing, the Add tab presents a straightforward form for the trail name, date, distance, and difficulty level from Easy to Hard, along with a notes field for extra observations. Saving feels tactile and rewarding because the confirmation button is styled like a trailhead stamp, and all information is stored privately on your phone. Your data never leaves your device, so your trail records stay secure and fully available offline. The Camp tab serves as your dashboard, where branded notch counters carved into a pine log slice instantly show your total hikes and total distance covered. Right below, you will see a short list of your three most recent adventures, putting your latest progress front and center. For more detailed insights, the Summit tab breaks down your hiking habits by difficulty, revealing how many Easy, Moderate, and Hard treks you have taken. It also calculates the average distance for each difficulty tier, helping you understand how your trail choices are growing over time. The entire experience is wrapped in warm, earthy visuals with wood textures and subtle topographic contours that echo the feel of a ranger station logbook. Trailmark is free from accounts and subscriptions, so you can open it and start logging from the moment you step onto the trail.
