From the moment you open the app, the Trailhead tab greets you with three wooden signpost counters displaying your total hikes, total kilometers, and this month's outings. Right below those carved numbers, your three most recent trail log slips are pinned to a cork strip for a quick glance at your latest adventures. A single tap on the quick-add button opens the Record tab, where a fresh journal page awaits with a pencil resting along the spine. There you fill in the trail name, date hiked, distance in kilometers, and optional elevation gain before tapping the compass icon to save. Once saved, the new slip slides neatly under the cork strip pin with a soft click, and a tiny pine tree embossment marks the entry as a completed hike. The Logbook tab keeps every hike in a clean list sorted by date descending, each displayed as a small paper slip with a jagged top edge and stamped details. Swipe left on any slip to delete it instantly, or tap to reopen the same journal page and update your trip information. You can also search by trail name to filter entries and find that one memorable ridge route in seconds. Over on the Summit tab, three wooden summit plaques proudly engrave your personal records: the longest hike you ever logged, the highest elevation gain, and the most recent trek. Every record is calculated from your stored hikes without any charts or clutter, just straightforward highlights that celebrate your progress. All your data lives exclusively on your device, so your trail diary stays private and accessible whether you are deep in the backcountry or simply remembering a weekend wander. There are no social feeds, no map overlays, and no notifications clamoring for your attention—only the quiet satisfaction of watching your hiking story unfold one entry at a time.
