The Campfire tab greets you with two glowing ember counters that show your planned trips and the total kilometers you have already completed. A smooth round river rock sits nearby as a quick-action button, taking you straight to log a brand-new hike in an instant. Right below the embers, the three most recent entries appear as tiny carved sticks so your latest adventures always stay in sight. The Record tab provides a simple form where you enter the trail name, date, distance, and set the status to Planned, Completed, or Favorited. When you save, a carving animation etches the trail name into wood while the new sign rustles into your collection. Your entire journey lives inside the Logbook tab, where every hike appears as a wooden trail sign with its name carved in bold rustic lettering and details burned in smaller text. Tapping any sign opens it for editing, and a quick swipe lets you delete an entry while the sign crumbles into ash. A search bar on the Logbook tab lets you filter entries by trail name, so you can recall a specific route without scrolling. The Favorites tab collects only the hikes you marked as favorites, each one bearing a tiny carved star inside its sign. All your hikes are stored locally on your device, keeping your journal private and fully usable offline wherever the trail takes you. Whittlemark intentionally leaves out maps, notifications, and account sign-ups so you can focus purely on logging your walks.
