My Care Academy is the app care workers use to run their day.

Your rota, the people you are visiting, what needs doing when you get there, and a record of what happened — in one place, on the phone already in your pocket.

WHAT IT DOES

• Your rota — today at a glance, and the week ahead. Times, addresses, how to get in, and what each visit needs.

• Clock in and out — the app checks you are at the address, so your hours are right without a timesheet to fill in. No signal or GPS playing up? Scan the QR code in the client's folder instead.

• The care plan, with you — tasks for each visit, medication prompts, food and drink, and how the person likes things done. Tick things off as you go.

• Record what happened — notes, a photo where it helps, how the person seemed. It saves as you work, so nothing is lost if you lose signal between houses.

• Messages with the office — ask a question, get an answer, and see it without ringing anyone.

• Ask for time off, report a problem, and see your training and supervisions.

• Notifications when something needs you — a message, a change to your round, a visit that has moved.

FOR THE OFFICE

Everything a carer records lands in the office system straight away: who arrived, when they left, what was done, and anything that needs a decision. Rotas, timesheets and invoices come from the same record, so the hours you were paid for are the hours the app saw.

WHO IT IS FOR

You need an account from the care company you work for. It is not a public sign-up — your employer sets you up, and you sign in with what they give you.

PRIVACY

The app reads your location only at the moment you clock in or out of a visit. It does not follow you between visits and it does not run in the background. Care records are confidential, and notifications never show a client's name or any detail of their care.
