What's your score? ThirdLife reads what your phone means for your sleep, movement, focus and relationships, for you and your family, with the tools to change it.
Screen time tools count hours. ThirdLife turns raw screen-time signals into intelligent findings across the four dimensions of your digital life that matter most: Connect, Balance, Focus and Rest. So you can tell a healthy day from one that needs care, and do something about it.
Connect, real conversation against passive scrolling
Balance, active use against consumption
Focus, sustained attention against fragmentation
Rest, how quiet your phone stayed around sleep
Each is scored out of 100, and the four roll into one daily score, with a plain-language read on what shaped the day. No jargon, no dashboards to decode.
PHONE x LIFE
Every other tool looks at your phone on its own. ThirdLife reads it beside the rest of your life and finds what moved together.
Your sleep: on the nights the phone stayed up late, did you sleep less, wake more, or reach deep sleep later? Read against your actual sleep window from Apple Health, not a guessed bedtime.
Your body: one bar per workout, how long it ran and how much of it the phone was in, with pickups counted. Listening apps and workout trackers are left out, because music while running is not distraction. Your steps and daylight sit alongside.
Your calendar: on your busiest days, does your attention hold? What share of your committed time the phone quietly took.
Patterns that moved together, not proof of cause. Where the data is thin, ThirdLife says nothing rather than guessing.
INSIGHTS
Every score comes with the why behind it. Findings in plain language, graded Great, Good, Watch or Action, naming the exact apps, minutes and days behind each one. A short read daily, a deeper one monthly, beside the trends they explain.
MILESTONES
Change is hard to see day to day, so ThirdLife marks it. Your practice, your recent form, your streaks and how this week is going, noted in small, honest milestones. Encouragement and badges when things go well, never a game you have to win.
WEEKLY REPORT
Once a week, the week just gone in one place: what lifted, what slipped, and how each ring moved against the week before. Past weeks are kept, so a month has a shape.
LIMITS
Seeing is half of it. Limit a single app, several at once, or a whole category like social media. Set daily totals and before-sleep limits that stop you at the line or send a gentle nudge, as firm or soft as you want. It also suggests limits for apps that are constantly heavy.
FOR FAMILIES
Set ThirdLife up on your child's phone, the same full app you use, not a watered-down version. You set the limits, the sleep window and school hours, locked behind a passcode. They see everything else, and they know it is there.
Their school day: how much of class time the phone was in, and which apps and categories took the most of it. And what the first hour after the bell looks like, which is often where the real story is.
Nothing about their phone appears on yours. We think a screen you open together beats a dashboard. One gentle nudge a day reaches them, in the evening, never during school. And it nudges you every few days, at a cadence you choose, to look at it together.
One subscription covers your family through Family Sharing.
PRIVACY IS THE ARCHITECTURE
Your screen time, health data, calendar and scores are read and scored on your phone and never leave it. No account, no analytics, no servers watching what you do. The only thing we ever ask for is an optional name and email, so we can send you a short monthly note on what is new, and you can skip it entirely. Works offline.
