Voice-guided 15-min walk timer
Better health, 15 minutes of walking a day
Arujikan is a walking-only timer for people who want to move more, get healthier, or build a habit without burning out.
It uses research-backed interval walking and suggests the best mode for your age, gender, and exercise experience.
Arujikan Pro (subscription) removes banner and interstitial ads and unlocks all-time statistics with monthly summaries, full session history with filters, multiple walking goals (weekly or monthly), and unlimited custom presets. Free still includes every walking mode with seven-day stats, your latest 30 sessions, one weekly goal, and one custom preset. Subscription in Settings handles purchase, restore, and plan details; upgrade prompts appear at limits. Purchase and restore messages are plain-language; Terms and Privacy cover in-app purchases. Settings groups options under clearer headings and uses a bottom-sheet language picker (Japanese, English, Spanish).
[Key features]
[1] Voice guidance
Train without staring at your phone. Hear cues like “Next is brisk walking” and “One minute left” in Japanese, English, or Spanish (matches your display language). Guidance can play with music or podcasts; sound effects mark brisk ↔ easy changes. Toggle voice and sounds separately in Settings.
[2] Interval walking timer
3 minutes brisk + 3 minutes easy, repeated for 5 sets (30 minutes). Clear phase display, ring-style progress, automatic changes, accurate background timing, and social share when you finish all sets. Great when you want strong results in less time.
[3] Continuous walking timer
A simple 15-minute steady walk with a large timer and ring progress—start, pause, reset. Share your result when done. Ideal for beginners or an easy start.
[4] Reminder notifications
Friendly nudges if you haven’t opened the app—roughly 3, 7, and 14 days apart. Tap to jump into a session and keep the habit.
[5] Share
Capture the result screen, share to LINE, X, Instagram, and more, or save to Photos.
[6] Training journal (stats, history, goals, presets)
Track walks over time. Free: seven-day stats, latest 30 sessions, one weekly goal, one custom preset. Pro: all-time stats with monthly summaries, full history with filters, multiple weekly/monthly goals, unlimited presets.
[Personalized for you]
Onboarding collects nickname, age, gender, and exercise level (beginner / sometimes active / very active). We suggest continuous walking for beginners or age 51+, and interval walking for others—you can always pick either mode.
[Five benefits of daily walking]
Onboarding summarizes brisk walking benefits: fat use after ~15–20 minutes, lower lifestyle-disease risk, heart and lung fitness, mood, and clearer thinking from better blood flow.
[Who it’s for]
Beginners, busy schedules, sustainable habits, phone-free walks, family wellness.
[Settings]
Bottom-sheet language picker, profile, voice and sound toggles, custom presets, statistics, history, goals, Subscription (Arujikan Pro), feedback, plus section headings (profile, sound, plan, support, legal).
