Mississippi Mobile ID provides a contactless, privacy-preserving way to verify your identity from your phone. It serves as a companion to your physical ID, letting you prove you are of age or eligible for a transaction without sharing sensitive details.

Registration is quick and secure: five simple steps—download the app and set permissions; verify your phone number; scan the front and back of your driver’s license or ID; take a selfie; and set up app security. The app supports biometric authentication (selfie match, TouchID/FaceID) or a PIN, and you decide what information to share during each transaction. Note that not all entities can verify mID yet, and an iPhone 6s (iOS 13.1) or newer is required.

So it won’t recognize the back of my license….which has been an ongoing problem for MS. Morons can’t get the barcode on the back right. Oh, it’s real fun when you’re trying to fly and have to argue with TSA that you are who you are despite the ineptitude of your state guvmunt. 🙄Idiots.
