New York Mobile ID offers a private, secure, and contactless way to verify your identity on your phone, serving as a companion to your physical ID. Only Face ID, Touch ID, or a six-digit PIN unlocks the app and accesses your Mobile ID.

Getting started is quick and simple. Create your MiD in five steps: download the app and set permissions, verify your phone number, scan the front and back of your driver license or ID card, capture a selfie, and set up app security.
