Please note: West Virginia Mobile ID is an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. As not all entities are able to verify a Mobile ID, you should continue to carry your physical ID.

However, repeated issues dominate: face verification frequently fails; capturing front/back IDs can fail due to focus or blur; users report registration not finishing and occasional crashes, especially on newer iPhones; and missing Apple Wallet integration remains a common gripe, along with network reliability requirements.

Have tried to scan my ID, app will not scan the back of my id

The first time I tried this app it was so finicky with trying to take photos of my driver’s it was unusable. This time around, it worked flawlessly. This is a huge improvement and the reason I chose to leave feedback. Whatever was done with the app solved the existing problems. Thanks for fixing this!
