BootStamp is a straightforward trip planner for hikers who want to organize outings without unnecessary clutter. The app feels like writing notes on a trail map kept safe inside a clear waterproof sleeve. Four carabiner-style tabs along the bottom let you move instantly between Home, Plan, Past, and Add. The Home dashboard puts two large compass-rose counters front and center, showing your upcoming outings for the week and your total lifetime log. Just below, it surfaces the three soonest upcoming hikes so you can tap straight into the details. On the Plan tab, all your scheduled trips are sorted by date on map-label cards with a soft contour-line texture; a colored dot at the corner indicates trail conditions at a glance. Swiping a card left lets you delete an outing after a confirmation dialog that tears away like a map corner. Once a hike date passes, it automatically moves to the Past tab, where completed outings get a vintage arched stamp that says “COMPLETED.” The Add tab is a clean capture form where you enter a trail name, pick the date, choose a condition such as dry, muddy, snowy, rocky, or overgrown, and jot any freeform notes. Saving an outing triggers a short boot-print stamp animation and drops your new plan right onto the plan list. Everything you enter stays securely on your device with no cloud account or internet connection required. A built-in search helps you quickly find any outing by name across both your planned and past lists. BootStamp keeps your trail journal light, visual, and private, so you can focus on the hike, not the app.
