Breakscroll turns the moment you reach for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube into a small win for your body — instead of another hour you'll wish you had back.

When you try to open a blocked app, Breakscroll asks you to do a short set of pushups or squats first. Complete the challenge, and you earn a few minutes of access. Walk away, and you keep your focus.

It's not a wall. It's a tax. A friction layer that makes intentional use easy and mindless use hard.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the apps you want to slow down (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Reddit — whatever your weakness is).
2. Choose a difficulty: how many reps per minute earned.
3. Open one of those apps. Breakscroll's overlay appears.
4. Do the workout — the camera counts your reps on-device.
5. Tap unlock. You get the minutes you earned. Time's up? Do another set or close the app.

PERMISSIONS
Breakscroll uses Android's Accessibility Service, Usage Access, and Display Over Other Apps — all required for the blocking and unlock flow. You grant them in Settings, with a clear explainer for each.
