Care Solutions Chat App

This application is only for registered users of Care Solutions Phone System Solution ("Omstillingbordet" or OB). The App itself is mainly a container that opens the online chat module that is part of the OB Solution. The App requires a username and password which can only be obtained by registered users of the OB Solution.

Care Solutions provides phone system solutions to Danish companies, based on SIP technology and centered around a digital user-controlled switchboard. This solution is named "Omstillingbordet" (OB). Part of "Omstillingsbordet" is a Chat Module (Care Solutions Chat, or CSChat) for Windows which provides an in-company chat option allowing text communication only. The CSChat Module also allows the user to chat directly to Care Solutions support staff, and vice versa.

As stated above, this Application is simply a container for the existing CSChat Module, to give users the option of chatting with fellow staff members from their mobiles when out of the office. The App version of the CSChat Module also shows the user if any incoming calls are waiting in any of the user's queues in the OB phone system. The module will allow the user to "pull" any waiting call from the queue and request the OB switchboard to automatically redirect the call to the user's mobile phone.

The App version of the CSChat Module also allows the user to initiate a telephone call to any external phone number, or via the built-in Phone Book that is part of the OB Solution. The purpose of this functionality is to allow the user to place a call through his company's OB switchboard solution, rather than directly from their personal mobile phone. The OB switchboard automatically calls both the user's mobile number and the intended caller, and links the two calls.

Finally, the App allows Care Solutions and OB to send mobile notifications to the user when a chat message is received or when an incoming call enters one of the phone queues in which the user is registered.

To make use of this application, the user will first have to purchase an OB solution from Care Solutions. No user sensitive data is collected or stored beyond the minimum necessary for a business agreement between the user and Care Solutions. The chat module deletes all conversations within 48 hours. The Application registers an anonymous device ID which enables the receiving of mobile notifications.
