Pros
- Useful for seeing in-line code coverage and test coverage directly in GitHub
- Saves time by not having to run around different sites to understand code coverage changes
- Shows issues on each file in context, which is helpful for code review
Cons
- Unreliable at times with rendering errors and performance issues
- Only works with small PRs and shows a limited number of files
- New permissions required, specifically access to browser history, which users find excessive and unacceptable
Most mentioned
- Issues with permissions, particularly regarding browser history
- Performance problems, including slow operation and browser hang-ups
- Limited functionality with small PRs and a cap on the number of visible files
- Integration with Github, specifically how it injects CSS and affects PR views
- Unreliable functionality, with intermittent working state and rendering issues
Recent reviews
It only works some of the time, and in the least useful way possible, in a github PR. This functionality should not need an extension, especially not one that requires such permissions
Only works with small PRs
It's nice to see test coverage directly in GitHub, but the extension itself is not very reliable. I often see rendering errors appear at the bottom of PR pages, and files with inline comments are often pushed far over to a single column making them totally unreadable.
