User reviews

Users find the UET Tag Helper helpful and essential for verifying UET tag deployment and Bing Ads tracking. It is valued for its simplicity and ability to confirm script firing. However, some experience inconsistent event logging, delays or failures in verification through the Microsoft Ads UI, and occasional issues with the extension not triggering or the helper button not displaying. Overall, it effectively assists in monitoring UET tag but has some reliability and UI integration shortcomings.
Pros
  • Helps verify that the UET tag or script is loaded and firing on the site.
  • Essential tool for Bing Ads conversion tracking and useful for monitoring tag implementation.
  • Simple and easy to use tool that does its job effectively.
  • Provides confirmation that the tag is working as expected.
Cons
  • Inconsistent behavior where events are logged and then disappear quickly, making verification difficult.
  • Verification through the Microsoft Advertising UI isn't instant and doesn't always confirm tag install as expected.
  • Sometimes the extension might not trigger or work on certain sites or Microsoft products.
  • Issues with the UET Tag Helper button not showing up.

Works for testing, but when prompted to "verify install" via the ADS UI it does "confirms" the tag. This should be instant. After verifying the install AND triggering a conversion the system should report back to the ADS UI that the tag is VERIFIED. That's at least 50% of the whole point of having this...
