User reviews
Pros
- Supports multiple platforms and browsers (Linux, Windows, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Safari).
- Affordable with no recurring subscription fees; offers a lifetime account option.
- Allows flexible storage of various types of sensitive information beyond passwords (e.g., images, notes, key files).
- Syncs data via user-chosen cloud services like Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, or WebDAV.
- Users appreciate its core password management and security features, considering it a reliable vault.
Cons
- Chrome extension frequently experiences autofill issues such as popups disappearing before selection and forms not filling properly.
- Recent Chrome or OS updates cause the extension to malfunction, becoming slow, unresponsive, or causing crashes on certain site elements like search bars.
- The extension requires a desktop app, and some users find this dependency inconvenient; they desire a standalone browser plugin.
- Buggy behavior includes repeated enabling/disabling of accessibility permissions, broken connection between extension and desktop app, and buggy UI with frequent popup flickering.
- The interface is sometimes described as cluttered or unattractive, and certain features (like 2FA integration) are missing.

Affordable and responsive

This extension has almost without exception worked very well for me for several years across multiple platforms (Linux and Windows) and multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Zen etc.).
I'll admit that to get it to work in a way that is (almost) as seamless as any built-in browser password managers does take some small effort on my part to sometimes manually manage the creation of an item (or add some more information to auto-generated items) that effort has served me well both using this extension and in other ways as I manage my logins and other sensitive information.
To the team at Enpass thank you for a quality product!
