Choose between a same-day room temperature bake or a long cold ferment in the fridge. The app adjusts yeast quantity, bulk fermentation time, and your step schedule automatically. Cold ferment builds a deeper flavour and a more open crumb — FocacciaFriday makes it as straightforward as the quick version.
Step-by-step bake guide
The built-in method walks you through every stage: gathering equipment, mixing, stretch and fold (with technique video), proofing, pan preparation, dimpling, baking, and resting. Each step shows the time it should happen based on when you started. On mobile, tapping Begin launches a fullscreen focus mode so you can follow along hands-free without losing your place.
Native timers
On Android, every timed step connects directly to your phone's clock app — set a 30-minute rest timer with one tap, without leaving the app. No copy-pasting, no switching between apps mid-bake.
Built for real baking
The stretch and fold counter tracks your four sets with 30-minute intervals. The bake timeline shows every step at a glance. Ingredient weights update live as you adjust hydration, salt percentage, and oil percentage. The pan calculator handles both rectangular and round pans, in metric or imperial.
