Focusalarm

Alarm for Focusmate sessions

Focusalarm is a handy Chrome extension designed to enhance your productivity on Focusmate. It allows you to set alarms that ring a few seconds before your Focusmate session starts, ensuring you're always prepared. Additionally, it offers customizable alarms that alert you multiple times before your session ends—choose from 10 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute, or 20 seconds prior. Pick your preferred sound from Bell, Bleat, or Chirp to receive motivating reminders as your session closes.

Please note that alarms work when the Focusmate Dashboard or session window is open, and it is recommended not to use the extension during mic-on sessions to avoid distractions. Focusalarm helps you stay organized and make the most out of every session by reminding you to wrap up or prepare for check-ins with your partner. I love the goat. This extension is awesome and I hope the developer will continue to support it. Chrome currently says that it's not following best practices and I hope it doesn't disappear! Thank you for the work you have put into it! :)

I love the moo! Delights me (and often my partners, when I arrive earlier than the alarm) hahaha :D

Thanks for creating and making the app. I use it when I use focusmate. They recommended it to me when I had an issue; and they have been slowly adding some of the app's features to their platform. It would be great to have the before and after settings match such as options: 10, 20, 30 seconds and 1,2, 5 minutes. It would be good to also change some of the alarms to common standard such as a bell. The chime alert has recently slightly lower in volume than my audio settings. The only one that is consistant is the chirp -which is not an ideal alert. I'm using Chrome on Windows 11.
