Recent reviews
I installed this app for the sole purpose of showing my ID Card.
And, apparently, after another year, it still can’t do that. Error: “Your ID Card is not currently available. Please contact Member Services.”
I contacted Member Services and they suggested:
1. Reinstall the app.
2. Try downloading ID Card from web first then see if it works in app.
Neither works.

The app has had some improvements over the years but currently if frustrating to open the app if I need to look at my ID card, but have to wait 30 seconds to a minute or more for the app to load claims. Why wait when that information is not what I’m looking for. Can’t that happen in the background and only spin and freeze the app if I go to see my claims? Next issue isn’t really the app but our experience working with SH over the last few years has been atrocious. We hit our out of pocket and then claims get shuffled around and then we owe money and then its shuffled some more and we are owed a refund. Currently we have a claim from Oct 2025 that is still pending processing. I had another bad experience getting a very routine and covered blood draw claim paid correctly where it took months and months of me hounding them. Each time the person said they found and fixed the issue and to wait a month for it to be resolved, and then each time it was messed up still. This took a lot of phone calls to get resolved. On the topic of phone calls whenever we have questions or problems the friendly staff often are not able to figure it out but promise to escalate or work with others to better understand the issues and then they promise to call me back and with the exception of one time, they never follow through, and I have to call back days after they said they’d call me. We are beyond frustrated with our experiences with SH and hope that things can improve and we hope others don’t have the same sad experience we seem to have consistently.

This is a very poorly executed app. Maybe they don’t even have a QA team? Their website is just as bad. Slow. Errors out. Won’t load. Horrendous. No user interface should be this bad in the year 2026.
