User Reviews

Reviewers say Freshservice mobile is usable and improves on-the-go productivity, especially for quick ticket checks and notes across iPhone and iPad. However, reliability and feature gaps are frequent blockers: the app crashes or freezes during common tasks like refreshing or opening tickets; sign-in issues (SSO/2FA), and device-compatibility errors hinder access; a persistent 'source is not a number' validation error blocks ticket closing; notifications are unreliable and filters/search UI lacks parity with the web. Overall, strong potential but major stability and UX improvements are needed.
Pros
  • Mobile on-the-go ticket handling improves productivity.
  • Quickly check ticket info and add notes.
  • Solid mobile experience and ongoing improvements.
  • Works across iPhone and iPad, aiding mobility.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability during common tasks like refreshing or opening tickets.
  • Sign-in/authentication issues across platforms (SSO/2FA, iOS redirects, and a jailbroken-device error).
  • Persistent 'source is not a number' validation error blocks closing/assigning tickets.
  • Notifications do not reliably sync or clear.
  • Filtering, search, and UI parity with the web are limited; filters don’t persist.

The navigation is pretty clunky, but mostly intuitive. My real complaint is with the actual work flow forced by Freshservice -

The app is very annoying to navigate. You have to edit the properties just to see model numbers and phone numbers. The ticket categories are different in the mobile app than they are on my PC dashboard. This makes it hard to find the tickets I’m looking for. I constantly have to sign out and in to the app. Other than that, it’s great.
