The time since you started fasting is shown across 11 phases. In plain language, you can read what may be happening inside you right now, backed by the science — a gentle look at the changes within, not just chasing numbers.
◆ The science behind it
Fasting for around 16 hours is associated with macroautophagy, the cell's self-renewal process, in a number of studies. Intermittent fasting has also been linked to neurotrophic factors like BDNF, which is said to relate to memory and learning. Yuru Fasting doesn't promise dramatic results — just listen to your body and keep going at your own pace.

I've taken on serious fasting myself, more than once — I once kept it up for about half a year and felt my head grow clear. But I kept stopping partway through. I never found the app that fit me, so I built it. You don't have to be perfect. Just give yourself time to settle, within what you can keep up.
