Training Cycles is the track & field training companion built for serious athletes and their coaches. Get daily readiness scores, smart training load management, and now — real-time sprint biomechanics from your Apple Watch.

DAILY READINESS Know if you're ready to train before you step on the track. Your readiness score combines sleep, energy, soreness, and mood into a single number with clear green/yellow/red zones. Track your wellness trend over time and see exactly how your body is responding to training.

SMART TRAINING LOAD See your acute-to-chronic workload ratio (ACWR) updated in real time. Training Cycles calculates your 7-day and 28-day training loads and tells you whether you're in the optimal zone, undertrained, or at risk of overtraining — with specific volume recommendations for each session.

APPLE WATCH WORKOUTS Start workouts directly from your wrist. Track elapsed time, speed, distance, heart rate, and calories in real time during running and track sessions.

SPRINT CAPTURE Tap Capture Rep on your watch, get set, and the timer starts automatically on your first movement — just like a coach with a stopwatch. Automatic sprint detection catches reps you don't manually mark. Choose distance-based capture for standard events (55m, 60m, 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m) and the rep ends when you cross the line.

RUNNING BIOMECHANICS Every running workout captures stride length, ground contact time, and running power via HealthKit. See your biomechanics per-rep to understand exactly how your form changes across repeated sprints.

WORKOUT RESULTS All workouts sync to your phone with a full breakdown: summary stats, biomechanics, and a rep-by-rep table showing timing, speed, and source (auto-detected or manually captured). Your most recent workout appears right on the dashboard.

COACH CONNECTION Your coach sees your readiness, check-ins, and workout data in real time. Follow your assigned training schedule, log pre- and post-workout check-ins, and get coaching notes — all in one place.

PERFORMANCE TRACKING Track personal records and season bests across every event. View competition results with placement and PR badges. Set goals and watch your progress over the season.
