Pros: easy, quick reporting; lightweight; supports civic engagement with data that can hold the city accountable; some reports do get addressed. Cons: reliability issues (crashes, errors); lack of follow-through with many submissions; location/address entry problems; inconsistent open/closed status and disappearing reports; limited options to update or cancel existing requests. Overall, the app is useful for reporting issues, but reliability and city follow-through are the major recurring drawbacks.

Pros

Easy to use and quick to file reports (takes seconds).
Lightweight app (~25 MB) with a simple workflow.
Supports citizen reporting to help keep San Francisco streets cleaner and provides data that can be used to hold the city accountable.
Some reports are actually addressed, showing the app can lead to action in some cases.

Cons

Frequent reliability issues and crashes (including after iOS updates) and errors like 401.
Little to no follow-through: many submissions see no action, long delays, or are closed without resolution.
Location/address entry bugs: map-based selection often registers the wrong address or fails to capture the location accurately.
Open vs closed status is inconsistently displayed and some reports disappear from the list, making it hard to track progress.
Limited ability to update, cancel, or manage existing requests from within the app (no convenient edit/cancel flow).

Not sure why it doesn’t work. Can you let me know what’s wrong? Gives a message “There was an error getting the data: Response not successful: Received status code 401” Please help. It would be more convenient to use this than on the website

They close every case you open in under five minutes of submitting and do nothing to clean the streets of SF. It’s wild how useless it is and how this city just does not care
