Verizon Connected Vehicle

Tried to create account and it died on first page of registration with computer code displayed and then with a too many PIN attempts lockout.

I’ve been trying to simply add my car on this app and it has been the worst experience. I’ve even called Verizon and guess what? No one knows how to fix this issue.

Every month when I run out of “unlimited” data I try to use the app to renew the prepaid plan for my car. I manually fill out my credit card information and billing address (because iOS’s autofill is not an option). And when you type in a number, the numpad does not even show up. You have to enter the number from the top row of numbers. I could live with having to type in everything manually if when I hit submit I got some sort of confirmation that the information went through and that my payment method was saved. But no, it returns to a blank screen, and the payment method was not saved. So then the next thing I have to do is call the customer service number and they are apologetic and usually also confused as to why it does not work in the app. They transfer me to a line specifically meant for making payments but their automated system ask for the phone number associated with the account, but this is not have a phone number. I tried to say the identification number for the vehicle, but that is not recognized. So then I call back the other number and tell them what happened and then they are able to take my card over the phone to make the one time payment. Last time I asked the representative to submit a trouble ticket.
