2026-08-20	ga*****	I use reddy bikeshare. This app will not always register when a bike is locked to a station automatically. You’ll have to open the app and sometimes even press “end ride” manually if you want to ensure that you’re not still paying for time. This has happened to me on multiple occasions. Where I’m being charged for time, long after I’ve already locked up a bike, and up until I remember to open the app. I was even charged extra for an incident where I had reported a broken lock. I’ve reached out through the website and via email to see if there was a possibility of getting my money back at least for the broken lock situation. And while I didn’t expect the company to give me a refund, they didn’t even care to respond at all. Super frustrating.

You won't be able to reset it and the app conveniently also won't tell you what the error is. Try to register using another email? Sorry, you can't do that either, your phone number can only be linked to one account - the one the app won't let you log into. Try both a new email and your office phone? Sorry, the app blocked you because of too many attempts. I'm not surprised that most municipal bike systems use Lyft as their operator - Social Bicycles is clearly incompetent at running even the most basic app.
