I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with how Blue Cross Blue Shield has handled my situation. This has been ongoing since October 2025, when I was forced to undergo an out-of-network surgery due to medical necessity. I submitted a claim for approximately $9,500 and provided all of the required documentation, yet I have continued to struggle to get a clear answer regarding the status of my claim. After months of dealing with this, I should not have to repeatedly contact my insurance company just to receive basic information about a claim that I properly submitted. The lack of communication and transparency has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the circumstances surrounding my surgery and the significant amount of money involved. I expect better from my insurance provider and want this matter addressed promptly.
