The top complaints are repeated redirects to a browser with sign-ins, crashes or failure to load, loss of in-app functionality, poor update communication, and missing notifications for messages/results.

Pros

Previously a convenient, all-in-one app for appointments, messages, medical records, prescriptions, and lab results.
Provided easy access to a user's own and family members' appointments, messages, and medical records.
Was generally helpful and reliable for months before the latest issues began.

Cons

App now redirects to an external browser (often Safari) for most actions, requiring repeated sign-ins and undermining the app experience.
App often won't open or crashes after updates, sometimes showing a black screen or freezes.
Core in-app tasks (appointments, prescriptions, messages) must be done via the browser; in-app functionality is largely broken.
Poor or unclear migration/update with little to no communication about restoration timelines.
Notified/alerted in-app messages or test results are missing or hard to notice, making it easy to miss important information.

Honestly it used to be more functional and useful, but seriously what is the point of the app now if it just reroutes everything to your device browser???

Why have an app that just redirects you to a website and doesn’t inform you of your messages? Totally useless IT department especially if you log in to their app / website and the don’t alert you of new messages:test results/etc. Just have to guess you may have important info waiting for you. I hope you like jokes ‘cause this is straight clown shoes. Updated: Keep missing important messages and finally switched to the regular KP app. DO NOT USE THIS ONE
