User Reviews

The Spiceworks Help Desk iOS app shows potential for mobile ticket management and basic functionality, but is hampered by reliability and support issues: users frequently get signed out, encounter 404s and posting errors, and face unreliable notifications. The app also appears neglected with little recent updates and intrusive ads following a subscription shift. Overall, on-the-go ticket handling is possible when it works, but stability and ongoing development are the dominant concerns.
Pros
  • On-the-go ticket management: users report the app being used to manage tickets and create quick tickets from mobile.
  • Basic mobile functionality for viewing/updating tickets when the app works.
Cons
  • Frequent sign-in/sign-out requiring re-login, undermining usability.
  • 404 errors when tapping notifications or opening tickets.
  • Push/email notifications fail to deliver, reducing alert reliability.
  • App appears abandoned with long gaps between updates and lack of ongoing support.
  • Ads appear in the app after the subscription model.

Gotta love it when tickets are piling in & you’re *once again* unable to sign into the mobile app while notifications fail to deliver (push notifications & email; sometimes both, sometimes one)….repeatedly. Not to mention there’s 0 escalation capabilities AND they just started charging for s subscription….without adding a single feature…besides ads - that’s right you see ADS while you’re signed into the ‘cloud helpdesk’ platform your company PAYS for to do your job). Really great stuff guys keep it up! Only here because I’m deleting the app & reinstalling- hoping to god I can just sign in to view a ticket starting with “Locked out of building….” Thanks! 👍🏻

It feels like this app has been abandoned and not supported any longer. The notifications work but when clicked always result in a 404 error. If the app was being supported this would be fixed in a heartbeat. The app works but not very well. I guess being free you do get what your paying for. Looks like it’s been a year since an update. It shows. Don’t expect anything great from this app. Just meh, better than nothing but not great. Edit: Adjusted rating from 3 to 1 as nothing has been fixed since the initial rating. This app has clearly been abandoned. Edit: Uninstalled. They finally updated the app. After four updates it’s worse than before. Now every time i need it, I have to re-log in. The 404 errors and crashing on reply is still there too. Our company has started to review a replacement support desk solution.
