User Reviews

Users praise Brili Routines as an effective ADHD-friendly tool that builds urgency, visualizes time, and helps families stay on track. The routines are flexible and customizable with real-world benefits for punctuality and habit formation. However, reviews repeatedly cite a costly subscription, reliability bugs (reordering, lag, data loss), and notification issues. Additional drawbacks include limited cross-device support and no Apple Watch compatibility. Overall, it shows strong potential but needs stability improvements and pricing adjustments.
Pros
  • Very effective for ADHD and time management; helps users stick to routines and improve punctuality in daily life.
  • Provides clear visual timing and estimates of how long tasks take, which aids planning and motivation.
  • Flexible routines with premade options and easy customization that fit individual needs.
  • Positive real-world impact, helping both kids and adults maintain routines and show lasting habit formation.
Cons
  • High subscription price and paywall; many users feel priced out or prefer a one-time purchase.
  • Reliability issues and bugs: swiping to reorder tasks can misbehave, lag, and occasional data loss.
  • Reminders/notifications can be unreliable or muted by focus modes, failing to alert when routines start.
  • Limited cross-device and wearable support: no Apple Watch integration and inconsistent multi-device syncing.

My kids and I are AuDHD. A doctor once remarked that my kids, on the highest dosage of ADHD medication allowed for their size, seemed entirely unmedicated. In other words, we got it bad bad. They’re brilliant kids that have taught themselves coding, piano, physics, etc. but can’t be on time to save their life. I’m the same way. Brili is somehow the only thing that has ever worked perfectly for us. It creates the urgency and momentum we need to get moving and stay moving, and has the novelty and stimulus to keep us all on track. It’s a deceptively simple app, but is incredible for getting kids (or adults) to just do the damn thing already. We’ve been using it since they were 6 and 8 and now they’re 18 and 20 and they still use it to get to class on time. I use it to get out of bed in the morning without scrolling, to leave the house on time, and to get started on a workout routine without procrastinating.

This is similar to another app I have, but the fact that it starts eating into the available time left for later tasks when you take too long on thecurrent one is (a) a major motivator to stick to my time estimate and ( b) still get me out the door on time when I don’t. Thank you, Brilli!

I love this app, it helps a ton for routines as someone who has ADHD. It’s the ONLY tool that I have consistently used and gives me a visual idea of how long it’ll take me to get ready. I learned this from Jessica @HowToADHD, and it’s fantastic ❤️ I pay for it yearly and it’s worth every penny. NOTICED GLITCH: Another person mentioned it, but if you try to swipe to switch order of your items in the current routine.. they get stuck on top of each other or the next one disappears altogether until you swipe the current one away. I have a few suggestions, though. I emailed the developer, but they didn’t get back: 1. Give different tone options for the reminders. The standard one triggers rage in me and I have to mute it, which defeats the purpose of it. 2. Give us the ability to edit the end time while routine is already started. 3. Give the ability to remove steps of the routine after already started without switching the order around to put the one you want to remove at the front. 4. Create more intrusive notifications on the reminders of the routine scheduled to start. Maybe create a way for it to add an alarm on your phone. 5. Have the app retain history of how long you have taken on a task in the past and suggest a new timing to make more efficient. Have the suggestion be a range of timing, suggest an average or longest time!
