User Reviews

Reviews describe the ServiceChannel Provider iOS app as unreliable and often unusable. The most frequent issues are crashes and server connectivity problems, plus persistent time-tracking bugs (clock-in/clock-out disappearing or not working). Users also report on-site work order creation/logging failures that require calling in and can affect pay. Additional recurring problems include login failures on iPhone, and feature bugs such as refrigerant tracking and post-update UI glitches (misplaced toggles, spinner). Support responsiveness is criticized, and many users fallback to the web browser for work.
Pros
  • No clear pros consistently reported across multiple reviews.
  • Basic field-service features like clock-in/out and work orders appear in the app (even if they’re often buggy).
Cons
  • Frequent crashes, server connectivity failures, and data upload issues are widely reported.
  • Unreliable time tracking: clock-in/clock-out bugs, timer disappearing, and incorrect times.
  • On-site work order creation/logging failures requiring calls to support and potential payment issues.
  • Login/authentication problems on iPhone and across devices; wrong login after password changes; cross-device reliability issues.
  • Refrigerant tracking bugs and post-update UI glitches (e.g., open leak record errors, misaligned toggles).
Recent reviews
App is clunky and hard to use. There’s no easy way to filter what type of jobs you want to see so you have to keep note of what setting to tick on and off again so you don’t get overwhelmed. Can’t close out jobs if you accidentally forget to clock out after you head home so guess you’ll just be logging time on a repair all night long. Also the interface consistently has glitches where it’ll continue logging time on repairs despite you stopping a repair.
