Users like the app for easy refills, messaging, and quick access to test results, and many report prompt responses from some clinicians. However, widespread reliability issues persist: inconsistent communication from physicians, frequent login and server errors, data syncing gaps with Epic and test results, and timing problems with reminders. Some users note incompatibility with newer iOS versions. Overall, the app is useful but suffers from stability and interoperability problems that undermine its usefulness.

Pros

Easy to use and convenient for refills, messaging, and checking appointment dates.
Quick access to test results and medical information; in many cases staff respond promptly.
Nurses and doctors often respond promptly to messages, improving communication.

Cons

Inconsistent physician communication; app does not reliably enable direct physician messaging or discussions of results, with some cases requiring in-person visits.
Frequent technical issues and instability: login problems, server errors, and the app not loading or crashing.
Data syncing and visibility problems: test results not appearing or not syncing with Epic; billing data may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Reminders and general UX gaps: text reminders timing is off, some tasks feel difficult, and compatibility issues after iOS updates.

Recent reviews

Makes it much easier to have questions answered, medication prescriptions refilled, etc. I can see test results much quicker as well though I often don’t understand the implications. Usually staff will send a message or call if the results are serious. I find some staff are more diligent about answering messages than others. Communication with physicians is non-existent unless one is fortunate to get a face to face appointment. Health care is changing & some of those changes are difficult. A patient must be their own advocate now. My Prevea does help with the advocacy.
