User Reviews

Eat Right Now is praised for its mindfulness-based approach that many users credit with lasting changes to eating behavior and real weight loss, supported by a comprehensive toolkit. However, recurring downsides include billing problems (unsubscribing and unexpected charges), app glitches and usability issues (video loading, login issues, outdated UI), and questions about price. Overall, many find the program life-changing and worth the investment despite the technical and cost drawbacks.
Pros
  • Mindfulness-based approach leads to lasting behavioral change and greater self-compassion (not a traditional diet)
  • Effective weight loss and improved relationship with food, with less focus on calories or restriction
  • Comprehensive toolkit: daily lessons, meditations, habit science, online forum, and weekly group sessions that support long-term change
  • Non-diet, science-backed framework that many users feel helps with broader habits beyond eating
  • Perceived long-term value and life-changing potential for many users
Cons
  • Billing and subscription issues: repeated charges after cancellation, trouble restoring purchases, and unclear unsubscribe options
  • Glitches and usability problems: bugs in videos, content loading issues, login/CAPTCHA problems, and an aging, slow UI
  • Price concerns: perceived high cost or subscription barrier for some users, with comments about expensive monthly/annual plans

When charting my weight recently I was surprised to see that I had lost 40 pounds in my three years in Eat Right Now. I used the app and tools and journal, but didn’t diet. Maybe people will think that this is not much weight, but I know I will never gain it back and I know I will keep losing weight.

The riding the urge was the most on point one. It should be the first one the middle one and the last time one. It is after all the entire point of this program. How to make it through? Is it real? It feels real! How can I make it through? I could have used this one when I first started. But I am here now and this one I listened to and I would save it to re hear many times If I knew how. I love this app. I really do. Thank you!

I’m a little disappointed with this app as I was recommended this through my insurance company. Losing weight is not the only issue people have with food. There is a large community of people with eating disorders that WANT to eat, and are having trouble, and I was hoping this addressed both spectrums of the problem. :\
