One more response from a teacher with a broken communication line with his students. You can download the crx-file for this extension (just google for its ID "gjnmclkoadjdljnfmbnnhaahilafoeji"). Then simply install the extension manually!

Love it! Please comply with whatever inane "best practices" gmail imposes so it can remain viable! "Best practices" is code for "I can't logically defend this practice," so I hate to give in, but the extension is great so I hope it can be resurrected.
