ViewTeX - View and Render LaTeX Files in Chrome

ViewTeX is a powerful Chrome extension designed for those who consistently work with LaTeX files. It provides a simplified approach to view and render LaTeX (.tex) files directly in your Chrome web browser. It shows the raw LaTeX file in a pane on the left, while simultaneously providing the rendered PDF view in a pane on the right, making it incredibly easy to cross-verify your input with the output. I'm sure it was working in 2014. But it's just not now. I tried one of the above examples at http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~uno/klr-err.tex and it just downloaded the tex. Didn't even open it. I also opened a local file and it did not compile and there wasn't even a section for it.

Not working 19 March 2017. I can see the TeX source on the left-hand pane when viewing http://www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~uno/klr-err.tex but the right-hand pane only shows: 404 Not Found / nginx/1.6.2
