Extension summary

Three Problems

  1. List Views only show me 200 per page (setup pages included)
  2. It's still annoying to scroll through list views looking for the record I want
  3. Related lists with many records have no list views/filtering

Solution: Salesforce Filter

What it does: On each list view it will add a Real-Time filter bar at the top that filters for any matching strings within the rows you are showing. It will also show a drop down allowing you to show 1000,2000,3000,5000, or 10000 records on the single page in the list view, previously capped at 200. All you have to do is change the value and then click "Go" next to it. Please note; it will take a bit to render 10,000 rows but it makes the filtering that much better.

This also works when displaying related lists with many records. If you click into "Show List" on the related list, you can then filter through all the related list items.
