Tinzin

Do you pick up your phone just to "take a quick look," and before you know it, 20 minutes have passed?

Tinzin helps you use your apps more intentionally. No blocking, no judgment: just a gentle nudge at the right time.

Instead of forbidding you from using your phone, Tinzin asks you what you came to do. Simple as that.

🎯 How it works

1. Choose your apps. Select the ones that distract you the most, like WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok, and decide if you want to just monitor or block them.

2. When you open a monitored app, a small, discreet notification appears asking you what you came to do: "Reply to DM," "Just take a look," etc.

3. Set the time. Choose between 5 minutes and 1 hour, whichever makes sense to you.

4. When the time is up, Tinzin notifies you with a simple notification, asking if you managed to do what you needed to.

📊 Understand your habits

- See how many times you open your apps intentionally and unintentionally
- Note what happened in each session and learn from it
- Track your history and progress day after day
- Maintain your streak with daily check-ins

🔒 Your privacy comes first

Tinzin does not read, access, or record the content of any app. It only identifies when a monitored app is opened, to show the notification at the right time. No messages, photos, or personal data from your other apps are accessed. Ever.

🔑 Permissions, in simple language

We only ask for three permissions, and each one has a reason:

- App usage: to know when a monitored app was opened
- Appear over other apps: to show the intent pill on the screen
- Notifications: to let you know when the session ends

That's it. No access to contacts, camera, messages, or location.

🤎 Free to start

Tinzin is free forever, with a limit on how many apps you can monitor and block at the same time. We also offer monthly and annual plans for those who want to use it without these limits.
