StopMe is inspired by the "one second rule" — the idea that one moment of mindful pause can break an automatic habit loop. Combined with guided breathing, this approach helps rewire your brain's response to app cravings.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — WHY STOPME NEEDS IT
StopMe uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect when you open an app you have chosen to limit, so it can show the intervention screen and enforce the App Scheduler, Parental Mode, and Daily Time Limit rules you have configured.

The accessibility service is used only to:
- Detect which app is currently in the foreground (so StopMe can step in when you open a monitored app)
- Show the intervention overlay or send you back to the home screen according to your rules
- Enforce time-based restrictions you have set up

StopMe does NOT read, record, store, or transmit the contents of any screen, messages, passwords, or personal information. All accessibility data is processed on your device only. You can disable the accessibility service at any time from Android Settings → Accessibility → StopMe.
