Stop Me: Quit Doomscrolling

You open an app to reply to a message.

Then you see one Reel. Then another. And suddenly you've forgotten why you opened that app in the first place.

StopMe puts a decision before the apps that take your attention.

Choose the apps you want StopMe in front of. Every time you enter one, Stop Me asks:

Why are you opening this app?

Choose your purpose.

Then decide:

How long do you actually need?

Start your session and use the app normally. When your session ends, Stop Me becomes the entry point again.

StopMe uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to detect when selected distracting apps are opened and help users limit or block access to them based on their chosen settings. The service is used only for this core app-blocking functionality.

StopMe does not use AccessibilityService to collect passwords, payment information, or other sensitive personal data, and it does not perform actions without the user’s knowledge. Users must explicitly enable the service and can disable it at any time from their device’s Accessibility settings.
